Hayley Williams Hollywood Bowl Concert reviews
Mayer's talents exceed his audience's knowledge
"Mayer is one of the best guitarists today; the sad part is that his mostly teenage teeny-bopper audience has no clue about this nor do they care. But, she is also strangely insecure and makes needless comments questioning the fans if they like her. While they are busy texting each other all show, take the time to notice how Hayley Williams uses 13 different guitars during the show and has a mastery of her craft. Anyway, the music itself is great and her band is very tight; sound staff was excellent- highly recommended if you don't mind staring into 20,000 camera phones going off every 2 seconds. Could be her uncanny ability to stay hip with Tweets and everything else that allows her to remain in the hearts of teenagers half her age."
